Administrative Assistant, AccessKC

Classification: Part-time
The AccessKC Administrative Assistant (part-time) is responsible for approving web app registrations and voucher requests, customer services via phone and email, and other clerical duties. Additionally, this position will help to ensure accurate record-keeping, data integrity, and alignment with AccessKC’s goals. The ideal candidate is responsible, reliable, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and has strong communication skills.
This part-time position is remote after a brief training period and assessment.

AcruxKC’s flagship program, AccessKC (www.AccessKC.org), promotes health equity by eliminating barriers to basic health needs for area residents with low incomes.

Processing and Approvals: Facilitate access to health care via the AccessKC web app, review document records, and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Records Management: Assist with data management and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

Education and Experience: Current undergrad/grad student or AA. Billing/payables, administrative and customer service experience helpful.
Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively, meet critical deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Problem-Solving: Self-motivated with creative problem-solving skills; displays good judgment and takes initiative.
Additional: Views differences between individuals (race, gender, age, cultural heritage, physical ability, education, beliefs, and lifestyle) as an asset and demonstrates appreciation for diversity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite and PDF software required. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

This part-time (non-exempt) position is a remote position. Reliable home internet service is required; AccessKC will provide a laptop and external monitor
Hours may vary. Flexibility required, as hours could include a combination of days, evenings, and weekends
This role uses standard office equipment; the position is required to talk, hear, stand, and walk, and to handle, feel and reach. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

This role is part-time, hourly, non-exempt; hourly rate of $17.00 (non-negotiable)
PTO (one hour for every 30 hours worked); 403(b) retirement plan
Possibility of transition to full-time depending on AccessKC's needs and employee's availability
