The ThriveKC Health Initiative is designed for working individuals and families who earn too much to qualify for public assistance, yet still struggle to afford essential medical care. If you’re working, living paycheck to paycheck, and falling through the cracks — this program is here for you.

If you qualify, AccessKC covers 100% of the cost. We help take medical expenses off your plate so your paycheck can go where it’s needed most.

Services Covered
Dental care, including treatment for pain, fillings, extractions, dentures, and partials
Eye exams and glasses (basic frame + medically-necessary lenses; every 24 months)
Prescription medications (up to a 90-day supply)
Hearing tests, hearing aids, and fittings
Durable medical equipment, including delivery and setup for large items
Who Can Apply
You may be eligible if you:
Are a working individual or family
Have a household income between 200%–300% FPL
Do not receive public assistance
Live in our 8-county service area in Kansas or Missouri
